Prime Care Offering Telemedicine

Prime Care Offering Telemedicine

Telemedicine is here!

In an additional step to keep you safe in these uncertain times, all of our providers at Prime Care Family Practice are now accepting appointments for Telemedicine visits.

Telemedicine allows you to discuss symptoms, medical issues, and more with your healthcare provider through a video call.

Using Telemedicine, you can receive a diagnosis, learn your treatment options, and get a prescription for many of your health concerns. It is a one to one visit with your provider, so deductibles and co-pays will be applied.

Call us at 804-526-1111 to schedule your appointment for a Telemedicine visit.

How Prime Care Is Keeping You Safe And Screening For Covid-19

At Prime Care Family Practice, we highly value the health and safety of our patients and staff. As COVID-19, the coronavirus, continues to have an increased impact on communities around the globe, we feel it is important to connect directly with you to share the steps we’re taking to protect our Prime Care family.

Upon arrival at our office:
-ALL Patients and visitors will be screened at the entrance of our office for coronavirus risk factors using the CDC guidelines.
-ANY patient or visitor determined high risk or showing any respiratory symptoms such as cough, fever, shortness of breath, sore throat, body aches, and tiredness will be directed to the outdoor care area in the rear of our building.
-Our outdoor clinic is staffed by our providers and nurses and will provide all necessary testing and care for those with respiratory symptoms or other high-risk symptoms.
-The outdoor clinic can be accessed by calling our office for an appointment. Please call 804-526-1111 if you are experiencing symptoms for an evaluation.

All other patients may continue to access the services of Prime Care Family Practice in our regular office setting with the provider of their choice. Please call 804-526-1111 for an appointment.

In addition to our temporary outdoor clinic, we are also taking many steps and preventative measures to maintain the health and safety of those in our building such as:
-Cleaning common areas more often, including kiosks, check-in/out stations, chairs, counter tops, exam rooms, phones, computers, and doorknobs.
-Sanitizing restrooms more frequently and restocking with supplies.
-Adding extra hand sanitizer at front desk areas, clinical areas, and reminding everyone of proper hand hygiene.
-Continuing to wipe down all exam rooms, equipment, computers, and furniture after every patient visit.
-Encouraging our providers and staff to closely monitor their health and well-being.
-Providing hand sanitizer and tissues in break rooms and meeting rooms.

Thank you for your continued trust and loyalty as we work together to fight this virus!
