Dr. Thein has been in the medical profession since 2000 and joins Prime Care in January 2015.

Education and Training: Dr. Thein received her M.B and B.S. in Medicine and Surgery from the Institute of Medicine I in Myanmar.  She then went on to receive her Master of Science in Health Education from the University of Western Illinois in 2004.

She completed her Family Medicine Residency Training at the University of Pittsburgh Medical center in 2008.

Academic and Professional Appointments: Dr. Thein was a member of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi at Western Illinois University and served as Chief Resident at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in 2007-2008 and is currently a member of the American Academy of Physicians.
